I was wondering the same thing. ThanksI think he'll continue to get at bats. Started two games this weekend. Has power to spare and will hit it a long way when he gets the barrel on it, but he's not yet really seeing it great and hitting for average. That will come as he sees more pitches.

Yeah, I agree he is recovering nicely, a real threat to go yard. As far as his running, he is never going to be a speedster, even fully recovered. IMO he is our starting 1st baseman in 2018, when I believe, he will show his true talent at the plate !I can't really speak entirely to his medical situation but it seems that for the most part he's back functioning at a pretty high percentage. I come to that conclusion just based upon the fact that the coaches feel comfortable enough with him that he started at designated hitter on both Friday and Sunday this weekend. I would think if they still had concerns about him running that I would continue to limit his at-bats and use him more as a pinch hitter rather than having him hit multiple times a game. How plus he actually is to being one hundred percent is hard to say. Right now with how well most of the people who are playing designated hitter are doing it is easy to consider him a luxury that we can bring along extremely slowly. So the fact that he's being used has a starter is pretty telling in my opinion.
