My father will be pumped that UK/Duke is the early game. His job requires him to be up so early that he could not even get to watch any of the KU/UK game last year live. I remember the fact I was still awake when I knew he was getting up so I called him and he was like "Did they win?" and I was like "yeah, by 32." and he didn't believe me.

I agree that it boggles the mind that UK/Duke is not the late game though for marketing/ratings reasons.

Setting the DVR for Kennesaw St/LSU on Monday. Can Johnny Jones outcoach Al Skinner? That would be a major upset.

UK/Duke will be a huge ratings night for ESPN.

For a college basketball Tuesday night, 7:30 PM is a better time slot than 10PM (which usually ends up being 10:30). I'm glad we're the first game.

Kennesaw St any good?

Kennesaw State is starting over with its first legit coach in Skinner. He will bring in talent immediately.
I would not overlook them if I was Johnny Jones.

Last year, not much was expected from NFlorida, who is in the same conference as Kennesaw. All NFlorida did was go into Lafayette and shock Purdue.

We'll find out if Jones can coach up to expectations with his top class.

With the way the preseason polls are shaping up there's no doubt UK/Duke will be the premiere game. Heck, it probably would be even if neither were ranked.

CU at Auburn at 3pm on a Tuesday? That's got to be a made for TV time. Guess both programs are anxious for a little ESPN air time though most people will be at work. Can't imagine there will be much of a crowd either. We all know where Auburn fan's attention will be.

You lost me with Maryland being #1...lol. They lost in the second round last year and had a 7 loss season. They really expected to be the favorite this year? And I agree with everyone else outside the UK vs. Puke game the rest are pretty boring games. Well the KU vs. MSU game could be decent.

The champions classic should be fun to watch.

I think Michigan St. is better than 19, so that should be a good matchup with KU.

UK vs. Duke should be epic.
