The only thing I can think of that might have him holding off announcing that he's staying is if we get Diallo and Brown or Diallo and Ingram. He might feel like he's being pushed out and won't have a spot. He's gonna need a lot of PT this season if he wants to play in the NBA. To show if he's improved in the areas that needed it. And that he's not suffering still from the injury.
