Is their another coach who could bring this much excitement to this or any other college program? I think not. Not that he needs any more money, but he has certainly earned it.

I mean, he's already the 2nd highest paid coach at his level (few hundred thousand behind K), I'd say he's earning his money at this point.

Calipari is the best college basketball coach in the country, and he is paid like an elite coach. He just received a contract extension. He signed it, so he thinks it is fair enough to keep him here. Isn't it interesting to see how people want to spend someone else's money?

Until he gets more titles, no.
We all want more NCs. Having said that, Calipari's record winning SECTs and getting Kentucky deep into NCAATs with multiple freshmen starters is amazing. I am confident that more NCs will be forthcoming. But until they actually happen, reasonable people will differ on this.

Dude makes more in salary, bonuses, and endorsements than some NBA coaches, is say he's doing well

I don't think think so. I believe he is the highest paid coach in college athletics.
.

Coach K makes slightly more currently cause Cals extension does not go into effect til next year where he will make 7.5 mil per (which will be the most for bball) The following year he'll get 8 million per. and as for "highest paid in college athletics". Nick Saban just made 11 million with his extension while harbaugh makes 9 million.
