Whoa whoa whoa. You mean I can buy the scoreboard??? Does the wife need to know?? Asking for a friend.
But in all seriousness, I hate to see the cliff go. Yeah it was old, the amenities sucked, but man it was a fun place to watch baseball.
I think it seems like the only reasonable way to keep score from home. I think she'll understand.
Anyone know the plans for the property? would like to see them build a nice indoor track facility there so the Nutter Fieldhouse can be renovated to a football only facility.
At one time there was suppose to be a new tennis facility going there but not 100% sure.
That is exactly what is planned. Money has been approved by UK Board. Don't know when they'll start building.
BTW... if anyone knows or sees a reasonable way to get a reasonably sized piece of Cliff Hagan Stadium memorabilia please let me know. I don't really know what that might be, but I can at least say that I'd be pretty hard pressed to find appropriate places in my home for a scoreboard or the turf behind home plate. lol
It would be cool to see tributes to Cliff Hagan at KPP.
For example, hanging the old scoreboard outside the stadium entrance, etc.

That would have been pretty cool. Put it out there as an advertisement for upcoming games. Use the video board to advertise and then maybe the score part to tell the next opponent and game. I bet there would even be a way to put up 'live,' scores of a game that is going on. Could remind people to tune in to an away game if they go past or something like that. Could be something cool with that.
