Clemson big man Ian Schieffelin has entered the transfer portal with no eligibility

“No eligibility left but still in the portal.”

lol, why?
Not sure how he can claim a hardship. He's never played less than 30 games in his career. Have to assume he's holding out hope for some NCAA or legal ruling to gain another year. If that's the case, Almonor should be doing the same.

He's going to claim Hardsuckingsomuchship.
GONG !!!!!!!! He actually in fact, did not suck. He had 11 points and 20 rebounds (TWENTY) and 4 assist against us this year. Pulling down 20 rebounds (8 offensive) is the complete opposite of sucking. had 15 double doubles. Damn near averaged a D/D, 12.4 pts. / 9.4 rebs.

He always seemed like a guy that got the most out of his actual talent level. I never thought he looked like a remarkable athlete in the games I watched, but he's crafty. I doubt he gets the extra year, though.

There are over 150 players who have exhausted their eligibility who are in the Portal right now. It's absurd. Dawson Garcia entered and has played 5 yrs--Marquette, UNC, and 3 at Minnesota and wants a 6th--because he only played 1 semester at UNC--at some point it's okay to tell people no-you are done.

If they pass the 5 and 5 rule--it's got to start with the incoming Freshmen in '25 HS class.

That’s crazy, absolutely ridiculous the should also cap number of games. Take the max games you could play if you won the NC in a four year span, if you play in more than that in a 5 year span you are done.

NBA is going to have problems refilling their pipeline of talent if so many get 5-6 years making 2 million a year. They’ll have to up their rookie guarantees .
