I'm thinking maybe that is good advice.
The silver lining to all this bitter medicine UK football fans have had to swallow is maybe the disruptive forces left over from Joker Phillips who aligned themselves with Dawson have been purged. The two QB's that Phillips recruited to Kentucky had every right to seek playing time by transferring but the way they have said things to reporters reeks of their disruptive ways. It is clear that they never took team unity seriously or all three could have exited gracefully.
The fact is the offense got worse while Dawson was here and while one of these QB's played and they are upset that changes are coming? Reese is actually taking shots at the QB still on the team as well as coaches. He should take a close look at the UT game from last year and see how he looked when he got a chance to play. I defended him after that but no more.
We have heard about the divide in the locker room between younger and older players and now we are hearing verbal shots in the press from these older Phillips recruits after they have left the team while saying how much love they received from from fellow player and fans. Both QB's wanted to make divisive remarks while painting themselves as victims. To me that says more about their lack of leadership qualities and a lot about their me,me,me, concerns. Leaving is one thing, trying to divide and disrupt a team after having left is not a trait of someone who understands and believes in team unity. I think the cancer has been cut out.
