The chance of me ever having a Ky championship banner hanging in or outside of my house is very slim. However, if the ncaa did to Ky what it did to ul, I'd immediately buy a conspicuous championship banner and hang it in a prominent place.

Not if its in downtown Louisville. The Building Nazi's will not allow the old facade to be razed. So the facade would remain in front of the hollow shell. Ironic. Basically a Potemkin village just like the rest of their University. You see shiny new athletic venues from the highway but the academics and now the athletic department of the university are in shambles.

City of Louisville ain't flying s**t, some deranged business next to the Bucket is, but the city has a very big contingent of BBN living there and they're very active. I can vouch for that!
The NCAA has that big hammer warming up for the University Six involvement in the Adidas scandal while they were still on probation from hiring strippers and whores for recruits. I'm guessing that's what he was alluding to. The University Six athletics department has been a shit stain on the state of Kentucky and collegiate athletics in general for several years.
This is what I always go back to as well. Emmeret was on such a witch hunt after T. Jones decommited for Washington immediately after selecting their hat. That was M.E. 1st or second year as the NCAA pres. And then UW was all over Kanter and the perceived leader before he committed to UK. That was Marky Marks first petty move. WVU has a Turkish guy in their team that played in the same league that year. The Kanters hadn’t touched the education stipend and offered to donate it to charity, in addition to agreeing to sit for a year and guaranteeing he’d not jump to the NBA bc he wanted to play in college
