Cinmeon Bowers made a bold prediction, and it came to fruition. I am thoroughly convinced that nothing will motivate this team. If trash talk from an opposing player before a game, getting called out by teammates (and getting hit by the smallest guy on the team,), and coaches alike doesn't motivate, what will? Cinmeon has a right to yap, along with the rest of the Auburn Tigers, unlike the Auburn "fans" who have trolled this board (By the way, who congratulates a fan on a win on which they had no impact? It makes no sense to me).

Oh for gods sake. We came out and played well the first half. They started hitting every 3 threw up the 2nd. And we went cold. Getting fired up had little to do with this loss.

True for some of their shots but we guarded some of them well and they just nailed them. They shot well.

He's had a wild life. Got shot like 8 times in Milwaukee IIRC. He's a very likable kid. It's really hard to watch him though. Turnover machine.

Last year WVU talked smack and questioned our team before we played them and we beat them by what 50. This team has a player come out and tell everyone what they are going to do and we fold like a cheap tent. IMO that lays at the feet of our Jr and Sr bigs. They should be the leaders but unfortunately both of those kids are more followers than leaders. Just not their makeup.

Last yrs team was full of alphas, this yr its only Ulis & Murray. It'd be nice if skal & poy would be alphas but we've waited all season & still no sign. We were up 12 but didn't throat punch, they luck a couple shots & we tighten up.

This more than anything is the reason this team will struggle to make a deep run this year.

I would change the "our guys" in your statement to "some of our guys", unfortunately we need "all of our guys" at this point and were just not getting it.

That was one crazy shot. I remember when Givens had a shot that hit the side of the backboard and still went in against Duke in 78. He would later say that when that one went in, he knew it was his night to shine.
Auburn was hitting some incredible shots and growing in confidence with each one.

Well put. I got the same feeing and it is a drag to watch a team that can't dig deep when they need to. Maybe they will find their mojo. The clock is ticking.

Cinnamon Bowers ran his mouth, and he backed it up because we are Charmin soft. This is the worst collection of bigs we have had at UK during the Calipari era. Skal? Soft. Poy? Soft. Lee? Soft. I don't care how well Auburn played, you don't lose that game. Our backcourt didn't play great, but they played well enough to win if we even remotely got something from our front court. This has been an issue all season, and it's not getting any better.
