Yezzir. Both SEC Defensive Player of the Week, and SEC Freshman of the Week
What happened to Freshmen CB Baity? He is now listed as 3rd on the depth chart at the opposite CB of Westry. He was making a push for Quinn's spot, but apparently has dropped off.
Best since Lindley, and I said it after ULL. I won't be shocked if he ends up going 2nd roundish, and he has potential to be a 1st rounder.
JD Harmon has been terrific thus far this year. Nothing about Baity, but Harmon has outplayed him.
These types of weekly conference awards are great in any conference, but I'd say in the SEC even more so. All is his 2nd game at this level. Stoops may have managed to find something of a diamond in the rough in Westry. Let's hope he just keeps on getting better!
What was the comment about Stoops correcting himself? Did he say prior that he didn't play well or something to the effect?
Immediately after the game. He said he went back and watched it, he played a good game, just a couple of errors that stuck out to him a bit too much initially.
They need to nickname this guy "The Mantis." He's long and thin, Quick and deadly.
