Huge choke by the Vols. Two weeks in a row that Tennessee has wilted like a delicate flower at the end of the game.
Streak continues for Tenn lol Butch Jones going to get slaughtered back in Tennessee lol. 2 big choke jobs by his team this year!!
Yeah, that 2nd attempt looked like it was gonna slip back inside the goalpost. Don't know if it was long enough either.
You probably said the same thing last year. I'll believe we can beat UT when our offense shows me anything.
Great win for FL. I admit I thought it was over when UT went up 27-14. The key there is 27...Jones not going for 2 was idiotic. I am beginning to think he is all recruiter and not much of a coach. He always followed Kelley at both his previous stops so this is his first time as a guy not following a good coach. UT recruits so well he will win 8-9 games some years but the guy is never going to consistently do jack.
Failing to go for 2 after the Vols last TD was a brutally bad mistake by Jones. Also, the Vols did a terrible job of clock management on their last drive. A few more yards and putting the ball in the center of the field would have been huge during that last field goal attempt. Overall, the Vols looked poorly coached at the end.
I don't care for UF at all, but its always nice to see UT choke another win. Butch is getting pretty good at snatching defeat out of the jaws of victory.
I was reading their boards after the Oklahoma game a few weeks ago and lots of them were saying if they didn't win at Florida they were done with Jones. Couldn't happen to a better program. I hope they lose every game!
You should hear the post game meltdown on Knoxville radio. Torches and pitchforks. Butch said these kind of wins come with time. I guess he will let them know when the time comes.
