Chiefs

I would think most commercials involving athletes would be done in the offseason and would take an afternoon, so I doubt that's an issue. Football fans (men) may be annoyed by seeing Taylor Swift on their screens a few times a week but she's not on the sideline or anything, not to mention these players were famous before she began dating one of their own.

It's also "too", not "to" but I digress.

They can't catch a cold barefoot in the winter time. I used to be a Chiefs fan kinda before the Taylor swift slob fest can't even hardly stomach to watch it anymore. I can load up Facebook and every 3rd post is Taylor and Travis, watch the game it's Taylor Taylor Taylor I want to watch football damn it.

They are just messing around w everyone else right now just to let them think that they stand a chance

When the playoffs come - BOOM!

Question: have you missed one live football play because one of the cameras was showing a celebrity in the skybox?

Trust me, I understand a fan not wanting pop culture stuff mixed with their big tough manly football time but we as football fans have pretty much acted like children this season when it pertains to Taylor Swift showing up at a handful of games.

She came thru my drive thru the other day and asked for my phone number, but I told her no thank you, I will not let you break his heart

I don't have a problem with Taylor and I think it's great her and Travis are happy. But mention it and go the hell on. Seems like every time you turn around it's showing her or her reaction. And like I said everywhere you look it's all you see on social media even if you're not following anything related to the subject. It wasn't bad at first but it's been beat dreadfully into the ground and it keeps getting deeper and deeper.

Understandable. I'm not big into social media so I guess I miss a lot of that. Still though, what I've noticed is her shown a few times during a three hour period and she hasn't been to every game. Wasn't it AJ McCarron's gf who was shown several times in the stands during the lead up to the championship as well as the title game itself? I don't recall guys having an issue with that. Was it because she was practically a 10 and TS is someone everyone's daughter loves? I dunno. Thanks for the response though.

Thread monitor?
Does me hoping a grown adult should know the difference between "to" and "too" and then asking someone else a question equal monitoring a thread?

He does this a lot on the Political Thread as well
How so? Let's not pretend that thread is sophisticated. Most of the time it's memes, tweets, and a circle of people calling posters pedophiles and commies. If I do ask a serious question, it's largely ignored because the tribe would rather gain likes by calling each other names. It doesn't happen often, but if I do see a rather racist post there, yes, I will call it out. Disagreements are one thing, but insinuating Black Americans are dumb (and love free stuff) because they won't vote how that thread wants them to vote is a little on the offensive side. We just had a poster on the Paddock post a lynching photo as a joke. I have no desire to be a mod or a "monitor" here, but I also don't have an issue calling things out that probably cross a line. Anyway, hope you're having a Merry Christmas. This site should be fun, not something that shows the ugliness of man.

I am having a Merry Christmas, thank you, and hope you are too. I agree this site should be fun. That said, I wouldn’t be typing this if you didn’t take another poster to task over a grammatical error.

Stop lying, it’s Christmas.

Also, get back to football over here.

Not a chiefs fan but don’t hate them either. That being said, lost respect for their team when anyone that spoke about the obvious offsides penalty on Toney that negated their TD couple weeks back blamed anyone other than where it should have been placed. Zero accountability taken from anyone. Their losing is Karma!!!

Not sure what is up with them, but I love seeing the State Farm Swifties lose.

They deserve nothing after the BS calls that handed them the AFC title game and the Super Bowl

😮

Hall monitor word salad. You cannot stop yourself! 😆

I am now convinced the problem with the Chiefs is Taylor Swift. There is just tooooooo much attempted defending by the Swiftie apologists for it to be anything else.

WRs really suck, only Rice is decent and he’s a rookie. He should be a WR3, not a 1. Toney actively loses games. Kelce, for whatever reason looks slow and is dropping everything. Mahomes looks slow, beat up, and frustrated. O line is awful at pass protection. Defense has actually been decent. The offense gave the raiders 13 free points.

They desperately need some pass catchers and speed at WR, that’ll fix a lot. Mahomes proved he could do it last year with mediocre WR talent, but this is an embarrassment.

Definitely wood Ms. Taylor Swift but there's a certain appeal to agreeing with rubes about the Chefs and her disappointment. Can't see them or the Eagles repeating in the SB btw. Football detente is here baybee!
