Do you still eat cereal? If so, is the same cereal you liked as a kid? If not, how has your cereal palate changed?

I like Special K cinnamon and pecan in chocolate milk. Not what I ate as a kid. Still eat the Life sometimes. If Cap Crunch is around, I will eat that bowl after bowl, but I don’t buy it.

My cereal of choice. Mostly just for snacking though.

I stopped eating cereal in high school in the late 80's. I always dumped a bunch of sugar on rice crispies or corn flakes and knew it wasn't heathy. These days I go for Greek yogurt or my own version of an egg mcmuffin (with scrambled egg).

I used to eat bowls of cereal all the time with a wide variety. In the past 5 years, I've made the decision to cut back on sugar and, to a lesser extent, empty carbs. I eat about half a bowl of regular Cherrios every morning with my eggs and bacon/sausage. No sugar, usually with berries of some sort - has maybe 10 carbs total in that amount and fulfills my need for cereal in the morning. Also have taken to making my own granola with a variety of nuts crunched up and no added sugar just to give my Cheerios some character.

The supposedly 'healthy' cereals (granola, Raisin Bran, etc.) have 4+X the carbs of plain ole Cheerios for those who are somewhat carb conscious. Also, Stevia is a very acceptable sweetener that does not affect blood sugar/insulin levels so you can use it without your body reacting like it's sugar (like it does with pretty much every other substitute sweetener).

Nature’s Path organic Flax plus Multigrain Flakes. I add blueberries or bananas, pistachios, cinnamon and unsweetened almond milk

Did I somehow get lost on my way to Le Paddock and wind up in Rupp Rafters? You all eat mass market cereal? Forum standards must be slipping.

If I need a quick bite for my morning meal, I'll usually have my chef prepare some bespoke granola or muesli. If it's the former, I douse it with some fresh, cold organic goat milk.

I like cereal but I eat healthy so I have it up. Some favorites are Honey Bunches of Oates and corn flakes. People who add sugar to corn flakes are dumb, as are Frosted Flakes. Yuck

On occasion will eat cereal. I mix it up, by the time I finish a small box, I'm ready for something different.
My go-to's:
- peanut butter Capt'n Crunch
- Reese's cup puffs
- Cinnamon Toast Crunch
- corn flakes w/ strawberries (prefer the generic Food Lion one)
- oats & corn flakes mix w/ strawberries (prefer generic one)
- Cheerios (either chocolate & peanut butter, or strawberry flavors)

Kashi brands mostly. Their version of mini wheats or chocolate granola clusters, Cheerios or Cinnamon Life when I tire of those.

Yeah I still eat cereal for breakfast. Although I may still like what I ate as a kid I try to make my cereal meal all about the fiberz and eat a variety of high fiber cereals.

Haven't eaten cereal in a bowl with milk since I was probably 12. If you can't eat it within a couple of minutes, it's just mush. I do enjoy Cheerios and frosted mini wheats as a dry snack sometimes.

I eat a lot of cereal. Usually have a bowl or two every night as a snack before bed. Always have some variation of 2 to 3 of the following on hand Capn Crunch, Fruit Loops, Apple Jacks, Lucky Charms, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch on hand. The GF always has Raisin Bran Crunch.

Currently (for nostalgia) I also have a box of Frankenberry in the pantry because I used to love it as a kid. It isn't nearly as good as I remembered it being during my childhood.
