How will that work under new head coach Brad Stevens? Will Stevens earn the respect from Boogie to keep him satisfied. We all know that he can be a head case at times. You need a strong willed and strong personality type coach to keep him playing hard all of the time. Would love for him to get out of Sacramento and in to a basketball loved city like Boston.

Brad Stevens is already an extremely well-respected coach in the NBA, considered top 5-10 in the league right now. I'd say DM would be very happy to go to that team and be their superstar. That would make them a top 5 Eastern conference team, and I'd imagine they get a couple more upgrades over the next 1-2 years.

Rondo and Brad Stevens had a pretty good relationship from what I can find on the interwebs, so I think Brad Stevens can handle just about anyone.

Headcase? No. Determined hard worker, yes.
I love Demarcus as much as anyone on this board. But come on, he can be a headcase from time to time. His talent is immense and we all know the real person he is, but he has been known to slack and be immature from time to time. But yes, I really do hope he goes to Boston.

But then he does things like this as well...

The frustration has been pretty mutual between Cousins and Sacramento it seems. With as solid a coach as Stevens, Boston could be a good fit. Oh, and Cousins would be juuuuuuuuust a little step up from Tyler Zeller at starting center.

I doubt they have the pieces to get him. Hope he gets out of that dumpster fire in Sacramento though.

They've got a war chest of draft picks to offer. Danny Ainge and Mike Zarren have done a really good job with the Celtics lately, starting with the trade with Brooklyn, and hiring Stevens. Cousins would do really well there, needs out from under that crazy owner in Sacramento.

Oh they do. They have 2 first round picks this year, 4 next year, and 2 the next 2 years each. It's just a matter of how many they want to give up.
