Albany is a good mid major but if UK can't beat them at home even without Skal then are season will have already taken a big hit. Also NJIT is similar in that they are a veteran laden team that won 21 games last year. However same thing with them. Now uk could get tested and it could be close with 10 to 15 minutes to go but I think UK will pull away eventually. Let's put it this way uk is basically playing a 15 and 16 seed at home.I think Albany is seriously underrated at 121 -- even so, they are ranked ahead of Alabama, Missouri and some other major conference teams. If the Skal thing is still in limbo this is a tough opener for Kentucky. Maybe even if he is cleared. A well coached, veteran team returning three good players versus freshmen-laden team trying to adjust to each other.
