I tell my kids all the time about listening to Cawood calling Football and bball games. IMO, only Keith Jackson compares with him. Does anyone know where I can find clips of Cawood calling KY games?

It is hard to find football games with Cawood. I had a vinyl album tribute of the 1977 team with Cawood's calls and it got damaged. I would love to find another copy of it or a tape of it. I bought it at the Cats Pause many years ago.

Cawood was magic. Back in the days of 3 TV channels it was rare to ever see a UK game so radio was the main source if you couldn't go to the game. You turn on the radio and as soon as you head that voice all of a sudden you could see the team, CWS or Memorial Coliseum and feel like you were there. A very unique and gifted man indeed.

Sure did. So smooth, but not afraid to say what he thought during the game. Bad calls, poor play, etc would be called out by Cawood.

Remember Cawood's stats guy years ago? Seems like he was billed as "the old assistant coach, Jack Cook" or something like that.

I have that tribute you are talking about transferred on cd. If I knew how to put it online I would.
