I have to say the strike zone so far in this series is huge. I don’t recall seeing a bigger zone in CBB.
Big day for McCarthy today. RF/DH spots have been a struggle this year. He is playing his way into mor at bats.
9-3 and Strickland can't throw strikes so they are bringing in Nove. Feels like we should do all we can to win this game and not worry about tomorrow.
Bringing in Hagenow to finish was the right move. This is strange. I am not finding myself questioning a lot that the coaching staff is doing. Spent all of last year doing that.
Agree. Using him there to guarantee the series win was a good call. May have Chavez and Moore available again tomorrow
I'm really impressed with this team this weekend. Our small ball is really getting under the skin of these teams, forcing them to make mistakes.
This style of play will run us out of innings sometimes, but we're winning more than we're losing by playing like this (so far).
I think we found our DH (McCarthy). Ewell and McCoy have been terrible at the plate, so good to see McCarthy come in and get some hits.
Would be great to get the sweep tomorrow, though I am already happy with the road series win.
Bama has a good team, certainly much better than Miss state. They'll be competitive this year.
