UK looks to win the series today at 2:00 pm, @ the Cliff. Cats will send LHP Zach Logue 4-1 to the bump, while Vandy goes with RHP Kyle Wright 1-3, but considered one of the best in the SEC.
With last night's win, UK sits a top the SEC East with a 6-1 record, 1 game in front of USC 5-2, after the Roosters lost to Auburn last night.
UK now leads a very evenly matched series with Vandy 146-143-2 all time.

It is, but to be honest UK had a lot of returning position players, but they never hit like they have this year !

This offense is something to watch. We're just destroying teams the last few weeks and the pitching is nasty as well.

That's the amazing thing. Heady and Carson are both seniors and are amazingly improved and are doing it in sec play. Some of the others may have continued to improve but the fact that these two are also dangerous is huge.

Cats win again! Kentucky looking very impressive. I am going tomorrow looking to see a sweep. Have been wanting to see Justin Lewis pitch for a while now.

Another pretty good game. Cleary struggled a bit, but they had a big enough lead. They are well set up for a sweep tomorrow. That would be a fantastic result. Vandy will probably be pitching Drake Fellows who has a 1,72 ERA. Let's hope he ends up like Raby (picking up more than a run on his ERA after playing a single game against UK).

Really fun team to watch, you can tell they have a game plan at the plate and they stay with it. Put good at bats together, and on the pitching side they just appear to pitch very confidently. Long way to go but like the look of the program.

This team isn't a fluke. Took a couple weeks to shake the Hendo off, but wow, very impressive and very surprising.

Another SEC series win. A sweep tomorrow would be awesome as next week is going to be murder having to go to Louisville during the week and then Miss State over the weekend (riding high after a road sweep of hated Ole Miss).

With Justin Lewis going tomorrow, and Vandy sending out a freshman, talented freshman no less, I like our chances. We have been swinging pretty hot bats lately, and our starting pitching this weekend is outstanding.
