To be clear, the defense has had its struggles, and it gave up a bad TD at the end, but it only gave up 17pts on the road …. that‘s enough to win … but our offense has been awful …. turned the ball over, couldn’t put points on the board … it has struggled all year.

We have no pace, no aggressiveness, no urgency, no confidence. We have a lot of talkers, but can’t back it up.

We brought in two good playmakers in Leary and Davis, yet we couldn’t get it done with them here even though they succeeded elsewhere. Why?

We brought back Coen, thinking that would provide some offense, but it hasn‘t. Why?

Our pace of play is painful, worst in the nation. Is that intentional or are we just that indecisive … or both. Why?

We tried all year to throw the deep ball, it never worked, instead of working the middle, and almost always led to punts. Why?

Stoops sounds like a coach without answers of late. Sounds like a beaten man. I don’t hear the fight and determination he once had … Why?

Cats play a resurgent Louisville team next week … we will see if there is any pride and fight in this team … if not, we could get smoked.
