Carson Coleman

Wanted out... ummm he graduated... was close to signing last year and as young as he is, you have to go after 4 years as he is now considered old.... wanted to start pro ball and that had to be now

Could be that. Still, I know that there is a big rift between the staff and many players, so many, to my understanding, are more willing to jump ship if they can. Coleman, while older due to a redshirt, could have been much better off had he had another year and had he shown an ability to consistently shut down opponents. The stuff is great at times and if he could limit the damage more then he could have been drafted, which would have given him a stronger case at staying on a minor league team in the future.

Question, how many Henderson players are left?

That might be a bit hard to put a finger on. Baseball usually gets commits pretty early and they tend to stick pretty well. So, even some of the guys that appear to be Mingione guys may have in fact been Henderson guys.

At a minimum you have Collett who was in the 2016 class. Mingione came to UK in June of 2016. However, I imagine some of the guys in the 2017 class and maybe even 2018 class were committed under Henderson and just stuck with Mingione.

For instance, Cam Hill committed to UK in like 2015. I know this because I found this article: https://kentucky.rivals.com/news/meet-cam-hill-uk-baseball-commit

So, there may be others that were Henderson recruits that just stuck with it, but that information isn't easy to come by.
