for the quiet period of recruiting to end here in a few weeks. Should add a clearer picture to all this 'everyone to duke' speculation all these recruiting gurus throw out. September 9th I believe is the start of the open recruiting period, which also is the first football home game. Just gonna be the start of something beautiful.

I was just sitting thinking how every year (off season) I have to continually remind myself how not hearing anything from recruits is agony, and that there are variables in play that prevent commitments.

I amaze myself at how I never learn to be patient. It's tiresome listening to how some ACC school has horned in on Cal's recruits, or worse, how these kids are led to believe that playing for a team where he'd be mentored by Grayson Allen is in his best interest. It's no wonder some UK fans turn on a kid when they pick that path.

It just miserable timing that theres basically no sports aside from baseball right now AND its the quiet period for recruiting. People want to follow recruiting even though there really isnt much going on. Patience is a virtue that pays off under Cal more times than not
