Hopefully this will help us attract a quality QB in the portal
Absolutely. True freshman.Isn't Kattus a freshman as well?
Yes, my mistakeIsn't Kattus a freshman as well?
"Without A Doubt"I thought they should have been use more through out this season.
good post1. Key is the best of them IMO...and will end up being the best in the end. Elite hands, can jump and get 50/50 balls better IMO.
2. Brown is best athlete. Elite speed but his route running leaves alot to be desired. He isn't as good as Key at tracking deep balls.
3. Kattus is next best prospect IMO. Good hands and probably will put on strength and be an elite blocker at TE. But man he looked slow as molasses on that big catch in the UL game. I hope he doesn't turn out to be non athletic like Rigg ended up being.
4. I like Dingle but man he is a crap blocker. He whiffs a ton and I wonder if he is physical enough to be a true every down TE in this offense. He's only a FR so a ton to go.

If Stoops would ever get an OC that use them more. The combo of young tight ends we have is exciting for the future.
I agree 100% but.... We had a NFL QB this year that the coaching staff kept basically handcuffed. If we keep the play to not lose mentality and keep the inept OC and OLC, no high quality slinger will come here. The way Stoop's troops handled Levis will be on the stud QB's mind's and they will likely choose elsewhere. Not hating in the least, just what has been shown. GBBNeed a portal QB who can sling it.
Has the qb from Boise committed?Need a portal QB who can sling it.
No. Although I’m sure better options will come available Dec 5.Has the qb from Boise committed?
I noticed the same thing about Kattus. He looked like he was running in slow motion on the long catch. But he’s tough as nails for his size. I was thinking about the comparison to Rigg too once he puts on some more weight.1. Key is the best of them IMO...and will end up being the best in the end. Don't forget Brown probably doesn't weigh 160 at this time. He likely just depended on his speed in HS. Off season of SC plus film study will make him stronger(hands definitely need to be stronger) and give him confidence on his routes....I hope.1. Yeah. But Kattus role will be relegated to like Rigg and Bates Not terrible but not much of a catch threat.Don't forget Brown probably doesn't weigh 160 at this time. I was high in '21 on Cummings pass catching abilities, guess he's been by passed. As for Kattus, as long as he catches what's thrown his way and blocks his position I'm not that concerned about his overall speed. He's not going to be expected to run 70 yards every game.
