Can't believe Kaleb Tarczewski is a senior already

Just seems like yesterday he and Cal had pictures in is living room. Kaleb had much longer hair then.

Sorry we missed on him (but I'm very happy with who we've had). He seems like a good kid and a pretty good ballplayer...strong inside. He's out for a couple of games with a sprained ankle, which...from my experience...is one of the most *intensely painful* basketball injuries there is.

Anyway, was just watching AZ and Boise and reminded me of our recruitment of him. This is a "nice" Arizona team, but not a serious threat to make a deep run.

I feel like the image in your head is that of Cal and Zimmerman, it's been a long time since we were recruiting Tarc and he never had long hair. Doesn't seem like Tarczewski has improved very much at Arizona, he has always been a solid big but I don't think he's ever lived up to his HS ranking.

I think Wisconsin benefitted from another ridiculous call late in that game, if I'm not mistaken.

I remember being highly disappointed that we didn't get KT: I thought we had a good shot at him and I thought he was necessary. We did alright with Nerlens and Poy.

He's a solid player, but definitely underachieved considering he was a top 10 recruit. I remember reading the KU boards, and they thought he was lock to go there since his Jr year of high school. I think alot of the experts did too.

He hasn't improved much for Arizona over his years. Their class was right behind and maybe even better than UKs class in some of the rankings.

Solid player, might even make a NBA team. Goes full speed the entire game. Don't think he has underachieved as much as he didn't have that high of a ceiling to begin with. He would have done well at UK.
