Canisius at Kentucky (Game 2)

Marsh actually pitching in game 2 instead of game 3. That's interesting. Here is how the Griffs go:
Daniel with a single to left and then a first pitch steal. Shinn chops one to the pitcher that's essentially an accidental bunt and moves the runner. No shift for Collett as he made them pay for it last night. He flies to deep left center for a sac fly RBI to give UK 1-0 lead.
Bottom 2:
Reed grounds out to first. Kessler then with a simple swing to poke one over short. Ellington hits a grounder through the left side past short. ARod also first pitch swinging and lines one into left to load the bases. Lewis with a solid little fly into medium center and Kessler tags up and scores. 2-0 UK. Nice from the bottom of the lineup.
Daniel from the left side. Double steal everyone safe. Daniel pops out to left to end the inning.

Marsh gives up his first walk to start the third. Burlingame may look to run here. 5-4-3 double play by the Cats. A pitcher's best friend. Marsh then gets a nice strikeout with a breaking ball.
Collett grounds out to second. Shelby walks. Curious how he will run. My understanding is that he has a hamstring injury. Reed got a hitters count but ends up falling to a looking strikeout. That was a pitch he should have hit into tomorrow, but he watched the hanging breaking ball go by. Kessler draws a walk. Good eye on a close pitch low in the zone. Ellington with an ugly bunt attempt. He basically pops it up to first. It lands just in front of the first baseman but he fields it and tags Ellington out.

Lewis calls off Reed and takes a popup for out one. Marsh is doing a fine job. Gets a pretty deep fly to left for out two. Then a liner right at Rook.

Rodriguez walks. Bullpen starting to stir for Canisius. Lewis tries the fake bunt swing, but fouls it off. He then pops up a bunt and the catcher makes an amazing play with a diving grab way behind home. Then ARod tags up and takes second on it. Someone jokes that it is a sac fly. Haha. I've never seen that before. Brydon hit by a pitch.

Shinn walks. Then moves up on a wild pitch. Collett strikes out. Wow. Shinn gets hung up and it might have been an actual play. Shinn just falls on his face and they throw down to throw him out and Daniel takes home. Everyone moves up. Grounder to short ends the inning.

They did that as well in 2017 with Collett as first base coach. I think that Shelby was just kind of the exception.
