Wow, that sucks for Canada... lost on a free through basically it appears. I was really hoping to see Murray play in the Olympics. Like you said though, they still have another shot to make it to Rio next year.

Well, OP, tonight in the Gold Medal game Venezuela also upset an Argentina team featuring big names like Luis Scola and Nocioni, so I'm thinking maybe your "crappy" description was unfair.

Sometimes it ain't about the who has the most NBA players on their roster, but instead who wants it most and plays hardest and best together.

The main point I get from your post is "Who wants it the most" as they would not have won either game if Canada or Argentina showing up. The main point of my post was that Canada choked to a team they beat by 20 earlier in the tournament, and they should not have lost the game.

And I'm gonna bet next year in Rio the team with the most/best NBA players annihilates everyone and wins the Gold again (except maybe Spain as they play them closer).
