2 years would be great, but it would also mean we wouldn't get all the players we have gotten imo. But I still like the idea of staying 2 years.
I don't think you understand who they "they" is in your statement nor do I think you understand the "make them" part either. They do not "make them" do anything. The relationship between institution and individual is voluntary. Precisely what scheme do you propose to "make them" stay ANY length of time? Apply it to two years if you wish.
You'd think some of them would have gotten mad about a perfect season being taken away by a bunch of slow un athletic white boys and would've came back right?
As I would expect you to to turn down the next million dollar contract someone offers you because you were pissed off you haven't been employee of the month yet.
To answer your question, I think it would be tough to go 40-0 any year, but considering how down CBB is this year I could see that lineup being capable of that. However, if you have the 2 and through rule that means every other team that had superstar freshmen, would still have them as sophomores. So CBB wouldn't be as bad as it is this year and so going 40-0 would be much much tougher.
Plus I doubt we get Murray if we have Ulis, Booker and Briscoe. Cal pushed hard for him after we missed on our other targets. So perhaps he is still in HS or he goes to Oregon.
Well I would be able to get the same contract a year latter. I would never assume I would be injured so that wouldn't really cross my mind.
I'm sure Alex never assumed he would be injured either.
Look, people can have different view points, and I'm not even saying yours is wrong and mine is right. I guess you just have to look at it with empathy to understand why some do it.
