That North Carolina won the NCAA Championship Game by shooting 35% from the field....57% from the Free Throw line....and 4 for 27 from the 3 point line. With any of those 3 stats you should lose the ball game.

Beside the refs.... zags shot around 27% They hit some threes but missed a lot of open threes. And the big guy missed 712 bunny shots.
UNC tried to give them the game, zags would not take... then the no call meeks "out of bounds" sealed it.

Well, they did manage to play Gonzaga, who people now believe is the "real deal" because they finally broke through to a championship game (while being lucked into the easiest high-seeded path in the history of the 64-team tournament)...Sorry, but just because the Zags made it to play UNC doesn't convince me that they're "real". They still beat no one, even in the tournament, of note...and this is why UNC could play like crap and still win (that, and the refs fouling out the three most important players on the Zags team...still don't think that would have mattered).

They were incredibly lucky throughout the tournament. You have to be lucky win 6 straight. Based on those stats UNC should have been buried, but Gonzaga went ice cold the last 15 minutes of the game. Crazy how things like this happen for Duke, UNC so often. Wisconsin went cold against duke in 15 but were lights out against UK. Gonzaga was very good in every half of the tournament except for the last half. But teams who play UK routinely play out of their minds.

I'll believe anything after this years tournament, and the crap that's going on in our country, all about lies and deception, fake news, hell next year we might have a genderless team with safe spaces, coloring books and puppy dogs, but we'll always have our beloved wildcats, GBB
