I always use my iPhone for this site and use the desktop version. Now it looks like a mobile version. Is there somewhere to switch to desktop from mobile view? I can't stand this mobile looking version.

Also they made all these dumbass changes but didn't make it to where all you have to do is copy and paste to post a picture! Omg why in the hell cant we get that instead having to upload a damn picture to photobucket first just to get a URL to post the pic. This was the best message board by far but it's been blown all to hell.
Well damnit. It didn't work for me. The biggest thing is the mobile view. Is there a way to switch to a desktop view on your phone?
I may be wrong, but I don't think there is. JohnBlue or Brett would be the best at answering that question.
I just tried to paste a pic and nothing shows up when I hit paste. I'm so frustrated with this whole deal. These were the best boards for UK by far and now I don't even want to come back because of having to deal with all new crap that really didn't upgrade the board IMO. This just feels like one of those things where a change was made just to change something.
When you hit a web site, it sees which browser you are using and makes a determination on which version of the site to give you, desktop or mobile. I don't know about Safari on iPhone, but my Android browser has a setting you can set for it to give you mobile or desktop versions of web pages.
Ugh this just keeps getting worse. I guess I'm going to start looking for a new home because I'm not going to deal with this mobile looking board every day. I saw one of the other mods say that the mobile site was much better so I assumed there was a mobile and desktop.

Want some cheese with that whine. For the love of God they just unveiled it. Give them more than 15 minutes to work out the kinks.
That pic is supposed to be my sig but doesn't show up. I wonder if the board looks the same on a computer as it does on my iPhone? I've hit the button that's supposed to change a site to the desktop version and it didn't change. Mobile sites have less features than desktop sites and I've seen a few ppl complain that the board says 7 time national champs. Well what I'm looking at doesnt say that anywhere.
How many times do I need to say it? It's a responsive site, there is no such thing as a mobile and desktop. The only way you will change the way it looks is by resizing your browser window because the site layout will then respond to the size of the window.
Not exactly. The format is the same no matter what you view it on, it will just be optimized for your screen size.
Just view the board on your computer and resize the browser window, that will show you how responsive design works.
It doesn't freaking matter who ruined it. It just matters that it is ruined. They took a great board and ish all over it. I'm 100% progressive when it comes to technology and web design but they messed this up. I keep seeing people say we needed the change and the old board was out dated but I don't see it. The old board looked fine. They should have just added the new features to the old board. I've had 14 hours to "get used" to the site now and it still hasn't happened. I doubt I ever get over the mobile type look it has now. IMO the board has been dumbed down and simplified.
Don't agree at all... I like this design MUCH better. That old board layout was WAY behind the times. Give it time, you'll get used to all this new fangled technology.
