What looked like a 40-50 point win a month ago now looks like a pick 'em. As ugly as yesterday was. Watching Louisville get dominated by Clemson. Score not indicative. (Junk TD on last play of game and Clemson left at least 28 pts on board with unforced turnovers). If Mark Stoops doesn't win this game by 2-3 TDS then he needs to resign.

With UK floundering and Louisville very ordinary. Get ready for the dreaded Noon kickoff. Which will likely give Louisville a slight advantage with a lesser crowd and probably a lot of our fans checked out. Hopefully our fans care enough to show up even if though we will be sitting at 6-5.

Louisville was seriously hosed by several bad or no calls. One was a phantom pass interference at the end of the second quarter that led to a Clemson TD. Actually, the score wasn’t indicative of how close the game should have been. There is a reason Clemson has won 39 straight at home.

Dromo typical Louisville fan - why ain’t you on the yum trying to figure out that disaster that Kenny Payne is?
BTW Louisville will probably beat us - play similar to Vandy slightly better - we are poorly Coached this year - Cunningham & Evans will be able to exploit our run defense - poor Levis will be under constant duress - will depend if UK is focused for this game and has a mental edge

Ha, I’m still PO’d at the ACC officials protecting their cash cow. It had a definite impact on the game.

interesting question, wonder how the Ga game might affect the Lil Bro' game ? We get beat like a drum which is very likely do the players care enough to prepare and be focused and beat the despised city college ? IDK .

Much will depend on Levis’ ability to make pre-snap reads, get rid of the ball, make accurate throws on intermediate routes, tuck and run when in trouble, throw it away when in trouble, etc……You know, stuff that most “first round draft picks” are able to do.

Yep. That's what I'm afraid of. They get housed by Georgia. What is the interest? Fans and even players? Like James Streble said yesterday. Why would guys like Levis and Rodriguez even play and risk injury? (At least in a pathetic 6-6 bowl) Picture a Noon kickoff right after TGiving and cold and nasty like yesterday. It's Basketball season. I could even see 10-15k City Scum invade. Be plenty of seats available.

Looks to me like our guys have checked out. Seemed like they were frustrated, mad, and didn’t play ‘together’ yesterday. Georgia can name the score but they usually play ball control against us and you know Stoops will play S-L-O-W as well. After that we’ll be at 6-5 and the guys won’t care about UL or a bottom tier bowl game. I think UL will win and just a few weeks ago I thought we would beat the hell out of them.

Can we, yes! Will we…..my guess is no. This deflating loss followed by a beat down of UGA doesn’t leave much motivation for the last game of the season.

Regardless I’ll be there!

I don't get the assuned loss to UGA, UGA fan here, we are very good when focused, ex. UT and Oregon ganes. But are pretty average when not. We didn't play very well against State last night, sure State had sonething to do with it, but Stetson was off, Washington was open all night and I don't see how you don't see a 6'8" 280lb TE but he didn't. We had turnovers, just wasn't focused like we need to be.

We will break Cunningham in half

Mark of a really good team that can make those mistakes yet score 45 points and win by nearly 4 TDs on the road in the SEC. Only chance UK has to even score is for the GA team bus to break down on the way from the airport. You don't have to have good players to play hard yet UK hasn't figured that out. UK's as soft as the Pillsbury Dough Boy.

I pray this game doesn’t come down to a 40+ yard field goal to decide the game. That would be the most stressful thing I can imagine

Won't shock me to see u6 have 8-10k there. Live in Louisville and they're running their mouths already.

So you're saying we can't. Got

This question can only be answered by the players and CMS.

It appears that most have checked out for the season and sounded like the transfer portal is on several players minds now.

I think CMS has lost this team.

To be fair, Clemson scored a garbage touchdown right before Louisville did. This was really a 24-10 game. Clemson gets the Kansas basketball home whistle, it’s blatant. But here is a rundown of blown calls that were obvious

1. the PI call that wasn’t that led to a TD rather than a 4th down for Clemson

2. On a rb out pattern, the Clemson WR pulled the cb’s jersey completely off his shoulder from behind to get the rb open for a 30 yard gain no call

3. Louisville wr beat the db on a post pattern in the second half, so the db wrapped both hands around the receiver and pulled him into a full tackle to prevent the touchdown. Wise play. No flag though, even though the db was already posturing to the sideline about why he did it.

4. On a dive play, Louisvilles running back, in the backfield, got his helmet turned 180 degrees by a facemask right in front of the umpire, no flag.

5. At the end of the half, there was targeting on the play Malik got hurt on, not even a review. Would have given Louisville a short field goal before half time

6. On a 3rd and 10, Clemson gained about 8 and a 1/2 yards and the ref spotted the ball on the sideline about a yard behind the sticks he was standing next to. As if it was a 2 minute situation, which it wasn’t, he called for the chains to move and was emphatic about getting them moved really quickly even though it was clearly short.

7. on the play before the pass interference that helped Clemson score, our DE was tripped by a linemen to prevent a sack, which happened right in front of the umpire again.

It wasn’t a situation where you can say we lost only because of the officiating, but it was clear the conference didn’t want Clemson to lose and miss out on a big bowl payday. It’s rough playing when every call goes against you and every momentum play gets countered with a bs flag.

as far as Uk, stoops always gets his team up for this game, and it’s at home. Louisville is playing better than Kentucky right now, but I think Scott has secured his future for now, so Stoops may have as much to play for as far as fans are concerned. I have to see Satt beat UK, though, before I ever predict it will happen.

We CAN but will we? Idk. Louisville defense plays the same way Missouri and Tennessee do. And we suck on offense. Literally one of the worst in the country.

Nothing would surprise me. Louisville, unlike us, has gotten better as the season progressed. We have gotten worse for a variety of reasons. Playing like we did against Vanderbilt we would get beat by just about anybody. To me, it’s karma. It’s payback for Stoops running his mouth in the Spring. Doesn’t matter, this season is over. 6-6, big disappointment

Louisville hasn't gotten that much better. Good grief!
