We are in DIRE need of a QB coach that can prepare and groom a young QB!!!

It's the ONE thing Stoops has been HORRIBLE at doing!!!

Heck, at this point I'd be happy with ONE!!!

Looks like we are going to keep hitting the transfer portal every year to get the QB that will be our starter. With the way the transfer portal is now you don’t have the time to groom a young QB. They won’t stay long enough to develop if they aren’t getting playing time they will just move on to the next team that gives them the best shot at playing right away. Unless UK can get the best QB prospect to come in that can make a difference and start from day 1.

I get the gist of this is probably geared to High school kids….but if he can do wjtb portal kids…I’m fine either way

Oh, I agree.

I would just like to see us develop a HS kid to be a backup THEN the starter when he has matured.

Stoops has relied ENTIRELY on JC kids OR transfers.

Can’t imagine Leary comes to Kentucky without coen on board.

I think as many have pointed out the next step is finding a high school qb that can take the program over for a few years and develop from that.

Will depend on how long he stays here this time and what kind of offense Stoops will let him run.
