I really enjoy listening to him on our games. He loves Reed and doesn’t hold back on the comparison with Jeff lol. Anyone else notice that?
Mills also has a nephew who played against Reed in the 13th region. No doubt Mills has known Reed all his life and watched him grow up
Reed looks like a lottery pick honestly. If he had better measurables there is no doubt he would be a top 15 pick at this rate. He’s a fine athlete but not 8 feet arms, or bolt like 40 times. Sad because he really can play. Any team who takes him is getting a steal much like Tyler Herro was. Reed is even more well rounded though.Cameron has already said Reed is ahead of his dad at the same stage.
Jeff played one season in the NBA.
Reed looks like he could be a long-term NBA player.
The NBA will want him to excel as a distributor because of his height. Herro's bread and butter was his ability to shoot over defenders at 6'5". Monk at 6'3" at least could also elevate over defenders.Reed looks like a lottery pick honestly. If he had better measurables there is no doubt he would be a top 15 pick at this rate. He’s pretty damn good as a passer. The NBA will want him to excel as a distributor because of his height. Herro's bread and butter was his ability to shoot over defenders at 6'5". Monk at 6'3" at least could also elevate over defenders.
My opinion: at 6'2"ish, Reed won't have that advantage. He's going to have to become an elite distributor before the NBA considers him as a potential lottery pick.
Sort of a feature of the SECN+ game is you can be a bit of a homer on it.I really enjoy listening to him on our games. He loves Reed and doesn’t hold back on the comparison with Jeff lol. Anyone else notice that?
Yes. Darren Headrick. And the two of them together are unlistenable. My 22 year old son even texted me the other night and said how bad they both are. Hope we are done with them now that ESPN + games are done. Just brutal.Anybody else think his tv partner is his doppelganger?

Selfishly ... I think if he stays all four years, there's a good chance he could grow to 6'5", at least, and improve his draft-stock immensely. The NBA will want him to excel as a distributor because of his height. Wanna know why our fanbase gets made fun of....this right hereDude would never have this job if it weren't for being a former player, he sucks! Difficult to understand with the chili dog in one hand and ice cream in the other.
Or possibly fans that have nothing better to do than to post over 35,000 times on a message board....Wanna know why our fanbase gets made fun of....this right here
Stalker too....your resume is getting creepier. No idea about my posts over 25 plus yearsOr possibly fans that have nothing better to do than to post over 35,000 times on a message board....
John Stockton was only 6'1". Steve Nash was 6'3". Reed reminds me of both. Jeff Hornacek is 6'3" too.The NBA will want him to excel as a distributor because of his height. Herro's bread and butter was his ability to shoot over defenders at 6'5". Monk at 6'3" at least could also elevate over defenders.

He’s a lot better than Bilas and most ppl get jobs like that from being former players.Dude would never have this job if it weren't for being a former player, he sucks! Difficult to understand with the chili dog in one hand and ice cream in the other.
That doesn't determine if people are good at their jobs. He’s a lot better than Bilas and most ppl get jobs like that from being former players.
No doubt, the similarities are very clear to anyone who saw Jeff back in the day. Both guys are smart players and both can shoot it well. I think Jeff did more drive and pull ups offensively because defenders couldn't block his pull up jumper due to that ridiculous vertical leap. I think Reed may be a little bit better defender and maybe a better 3pt shooter. I would take either in their prime. 👍Mills knows Shep very well. Played with him for years. Guarantee he sees the similarities
I think I got it.That doesn't determine if people are good at their jobs.

That's the thing I remember about Shep, just how high he was on that pull-up jumper. A jumper. No doubt, the similarities are very clear to anyone who saw Jeff back in the day. He got a lot of Rex comparisons when he first got to UK. Did some nasty dunks... especially on some poor Arkansas dude in Bud Walton IIRCThat's the thing I remember about Shep, just how high he was on that pull-up jumper. A jumper.
I believe Reed has a better set of handles as well...No doubt, the similarities are very clear to anyone who saw Jeff back in the day. Both guys are smart players and both can shoot it well. Yea my nephew is in the same region as well. I’ve watched Reed play a lot and seen Travis Perry play a few times.Mills also has a nephew who played against Reed in the 13th region.
I see some Mark Price.John Stockton was only 6'1". Steve Nash was 6'3". Reed reminds me of both. Jeff Hornacek is 6'3" too.
He just eats the wrong types of food ... like most everyone else.Cameron likes to eat a lot!
