As great as Cal has been at Kentucky, I've always felt that with a break here or there and a tweak in recruiting, the Cats could have an even more extraordinary run that would define Cal as one of the 2-3 great college coaches ever.
I'm starting to feel UK is on the threshold of a 4-5 year run that could be epic. With Diallo and Bamba, the Cats will be in the conversation next year. But just imagine the 18-19 roster, with 6-7 guys back who weren't quite OAD and Cal filling the gaps with 2-3 top five guys. And so on for the next several years.
Hey, that's my vision for the near future and I'm sticking with it.
