I brought this up several weeks ago (Not this incident) about Cal recruiting for other teams and other sports and had a few try to laugh me off the board. No biggie but he who laughs...

I could see him helping antigua or flint and friends in business in that way with players who could help his friend but not quite uk level talents.

Maybe he can help out putino a little to try and get his mojo back....what are friends for?

Wasn't too long ago on KSR they had one of the UK coaches on from another sport on and the question came up about cross-sport recruiting.

He did say that if the recruit showed an interest in UK basketball, for example, they would try to arrange a meeting with Cal etc. during his visit to Lexington.

Makes sense to me.
