FB Recruiting Calipari says Vanderbilt "will be fine."

He will probably be fine, but Cal saying that doesn't mean much, to me. He's never going to act like a kid has an injury that might cost him his draft status, he's all about protecting the athlete. He's going to say everything is fine if or until there is a time when he absolutely has to say something different.

Must have been one bad injury for him to still not be playing. Assume a broken foot maybe?

I don't think Vando would have been so upbeat to get on Campus if it was anything that might threaten him playing this season or even missing one game. There's lots to worry about in life, but this sure isn't on the list.

I've got my money on Lisfrank injury. Is there a pool I can get into anywhere?

Some of you people are just never satisfied. Cal makes a statement about the injury status of one of his players and you take it and run the other way with it. Has Cal ever LIED about an injury regarding any of his players at UK? It amazes me how some people can function on a daily basis when they look at life through a negative lens. Losers.

I would be shocked if it is that given the play on which he was injured. Doesn't fit the mechanism

It is "Lisfranc" and that would be pretty low on my list

Man I'm afraid to even have him celebrate with the team after a win. He might get a dislocated hand from all the high fives. I remember when we had jason Parker which was the beginning of the end of all amercans at uk for tubby. The guy slips and fell in the locker room and was out the whole year. I would like to know which Wendy's he's working at now

Lol, I was going for the longshot in the pool. Thank you for helping lengthen my odds. I owe you one.

Steve Austin was from Ky! UK let him slip away to Hollywood. Can you imagine how good he would have been as a small forward with his tools!

I think Cal is hiding information to protect Vanderbilt's draft stock.

I have it on good authority that the kid won't be able to walk for another 8 to 10 months. Here's a photo of the kid from last week. I'm not sure Cal will be very happy once he knows this has been leaked...

At least the young man's eating well.

Thanks for showing me a one-legged girl that would beat me in an asskicking contest. Just made my day. Lol (kinda)

I'm not bashing Cal, I'm simply chalking it up to coach speak and the fact that Cal always has his players best interest in mind (which is good thing). He's a salesman, plain and simple. Just like he's running around saying Bam will be drafted between 9 & 26, the only person who is saying he has a chance of going that high.
