Pretty cool to think that when Wall came to Kentucky, there were so many haters calling him a showboat, low character, etc. in part because of the hate directed at Cal and the one and done system (which of course everyone is OK with now that K has adopted it). Now Wall has gone on to be one of the best players in the NBA, a true leader with very high character, and one of the greatest ambassadors for the UK program.
At least he had the decency to sneak around and do it. Not everyone is so deiscrete with "love" at that ageAnd so much of it initially based on the kid taking his girl in to an empty house to fool around.
Pretty sure a lot of us did something worse at that age.

Boy, do I remember the hay rides at summer church camp! Gosh, those were the days!
Was Zion at the HOF ceremony?
Rafters.Wasn’t there a rule that you had to graduate to be in the UK hall of fame? Or was that just for a jersey to hang in the rafters?
I don't know what the rules are. What do you, in your good common sense efforts, think?

Anytime, Colonel. Love your beef BTW.I actually do, but thanks for the heads up, dawg.
Tearjerker.
Let's keep it PG Orville!!!Boy, do I remember the hay rides at summer church camp! Gosh, those were the days!
He got emotional during his speech and then he put on his old UK jersey and did the John Wall dance..The crowd loved it..Lets not forget those who said OADS will never come back and visit Kentucky, they were all about the pros.
Plus this guy has filled out, he's a man out there today.
in the Woodford Reserve Room at Kroger FieldWhere do they have that ceremony at? And does Cal have a name tag on?lol
Narrator: "He was not at the ceremony."What do you, in your good common sense efforts, think?
Randall Cobb was not there he sent in a video and his Father accepted for him..Narrator: "He was not at the ceremony."
I love this Kid!
Ironically, the team up the road who likes to bash our players, coach and program the most, have players in their program who did far worse! On campus, in a dorm named after a dead brother of the head coach's wife, under the nose of the entire staff and leadership no less. Not only that, now they have players asking to be disassociated with the program all together. All this while a Multimillionaire, NBA all-star stands on stage, literally in tears and talks about how great it is to have his Kentucky Jersey on again. Yea, and somehow they can still say with a straight face that we are destroying college basketball and our players are just mercenaries. And so much of it initially based on the kid taking his girl in to an empty house to fool around.
