Cal missed bigtime with this class....already waiting for next season

Just one of those years....this class isn't good enough but I don't doubt Cal at all....next year will be fun....
Murray definitely a first rounder. The rest. Not so much. Next year will be better I hope?

it's a shame Coach K had no talent last year, makes that title so much more impressive!
Give me some 4 year role players and some shooters... Not really looking forward to a bunch of athletes running around like chickens who can't shoot a 10 ft jumper

Not a matter of missing. All Cal can do is get the best class. Some years the group coming out is just subpar. This is a weak class of freshmen. Cal can't really force some to reclassify, he can't go get one of his guys in the league to come back to school. He got the best big, got the best shooting guard, not sure how he could have not missed any better.

With the exception of Simmons and maybe Ingram, this class is weak. Our current freshman, with the exception of Murray, are no where near what we've seen in the past few years under Cal. I can't see any of these freshman being a first round pick outside of Murray.

How about two lottery picks instead? The talent is there. Obviously not as talented at the 2012 or 2015 teams but the pieces for a very good team are there.
I know they "say" we have top 10 picks, I'm just asking people to look at it objectively. What Bilas is saying is based almost entirely on name recognition. Just watch them play, as a UK fan you should know what a lotto pick looks like by now.

Some posters mention the disaster of 2013, but don't forget . . . we lost 10 games in 2014 (remember "ten-loss Tubby") before Aaron Harrison hit those three miraculous shots and we unbelievably, incredibly found ourselves in the NCAA final game. IMHO, the 10 losses paint a truer picture of that team than does the NCAA Runner-Up trophy.
We'll lose 10 games again this season, for sure . . . and there may not be an NCAA miracle to remove the sour taste of this 10-loss season. It may be another NIT trip. Maybe we can at least win a game in the NIT.

Other than Ben Simmons this was the weakest class in years.....next year will be better.....that is why not winning the title killed last year.
