It's obviously pure luck. I read on the Cat Paw that Cal can't coach.

What's even more incredible, is three of those losses came in one season (I think).

Cal is a terrible offensive coach, he should hire offensive minded assistant
Cal is the WORST DI coach in the last 5 minutes
Cal doesn't know to recruit shooter
Cal is very bad at X and Os.
Cal doesn't know defense, because he doesn't play Zone Defense enough.

Obviously, the dude is luckiest coach of all time.
