Cal In-Home Visit with Monk Today

I'm drooling over a fox, monk, bridges 123
If Fox is coming to Kentucky he better be doing something, because I think that Simmons is going to commit.

We've already got muscle down low with Humphries and Wynyard expected back. We have very good role players on the perimeter likely coming back in Mulder and Matthews. We just need five 5-stars to start and I think those five fit best together of all the guys we are after.
Would I like to have Giles or Adebayo? Of course. I just don't think we really have a shot with either. I think we have a good shot with those four, though.

Yes we do. Calipari covets Monk. And I think Kentucky is Monk's priority too. Only question left for me is whether Monk will take the plunge and sign with us in November. Most people don't think so, but that wouldn't surprise me.
Not worried at all. We had an in home as well yesterday. We get the last visit for the Auburn game. He's visited unofficially too many times to count. CMA has worked as hard for this kid as I can remember. If he goes to UK so be it and good luck to him.

Yeah. I keep hearing that but we have a top 5 juco 2 committed for next year and a top 32 center for 2017. Our class will be top ten this year.

He was on campus there often. It was talked about on Twitter, here, and the Arkansas board. I'm not going to go dig it up. I'm not lying about it. He even visited Arkansas after committing to UK. Either believe it or not.
Arkansas will have a mediocre class and won't even be a top 25 team. They're a mess.
Either way I think Monk is heading to UK. Would be an extremely dumb decision to choose Arkansas over Kentucky, no offense. Better chance to win in college and improve draft stock tremendously with national exposure every game.
No offense taken. You're allowed to have your gut feel as much as the next guy but it has nothing to do with what the Monks have let out. Nobody knows jack. He's a top 10 pick wherever he lands.
History is showing that more often than not, this^ is the case. From what I understand, it's fairly likely that Monk will make a spring decision and I guarantee that Cal will point to Malik Newman, whose stock will have fallen, and Jamal Murray, who'll look like a top 5 pick, and say "which one do you want to be?" Can't say what Monk will do, but if he wants to maximize his draft stock, he'll know where to do it.
So we are assuming Ulis will go to the NBA after this season for sure? I don't doubt his abilities, and I hope he plays well enough and proves himself, but there's a chance NBA people still aren't sold on him. I guess we will see how the season plays out.

It may not. But to state that with absolute certainty is ignorant. Guys with limited upside have been leaving early every year. Lamb, Goodwin, Dakari, and both Harrison's come to mind. Ulis has arguably as much NBA potential as any of them.
I guess Cal wasted a visit this week. I will message him you say it is a done deal.
