Well, if this leads to Brad failing classes and getting put on academic suspension it'll certainly be tough for us, but I think Wynyard and Pulliam might be capable of coming in and launching 3 pointers from half-court in the final minute of a 50 point blowout.

I was being completely serious, and I'm not worried about it having any implications on Brad's eligibility, I was moreso just hoping that him being there during the week isn't representative of how our other players' academic priorities as well. I'm sure there's some sort of scheduling arrangement that allows him to do things like this (he was also at the all star events this year).

I'm glad Cal got to see Booker play cause I went to Atlanta last Tuesday to see the Hawks vs Suns and Booker took the night off. Oh well, Ulis played well and Bledsoe and Knight had their own shoot around for about 30 minutes which was great.

Wow.

Fox is in California, Bam is in Phoenix, we go through this every year. These kids complete the Spring semester (except Orton). They have the best tutors available and knowing the demands on their schedule in the Spring Semester (SEC tourney, NCAA tourney and preparing for the draft) that most of their classes are online. They aren't your typical college student, they will finish their work for the Spring and they will do well.

He is probably like me when I make the 5 hour drive to Lexington to a tuesday night game and my daughter-in-law says that my granddaughter has to be home so she can be at school on time. I didn't use to mind driving all afternoon and night but I have opened and closed my eyes too long for those marathons. The other thing is Brad may be far enough ahead of his classmates he can take a day off now and then to let them catch up.

Only the BBN would be so concerned over a walk-on's academic performance that they'd be researching UK's spring break dates and all of that to figure out if Brad is missing class or not :joy:

I love it

It could be possible that he is just skipping class. Wait..what, a college kid skipping class...? Or the same way he wasn't in class for the last 3 weeks...due to SEC tournament & NCAA tournament.

I kind of figured I would take some heat for posting what I did, but I really don't understand what is wrong about being curious about why he's there. I never played on the basketball team in college, so I'm not assuming that he's actually missing class (because there are obviously other arrangements such as tutors), just wondering how now that the season is over he's able to do this, that's all. I probably shouldn't have said it could be representative of our other player's academic priorities, that was pretty stupid, not going to lie

My daughter is a student at Temple and she has never had a Friday class in 3 semesters. This term she only has 1 on Thursday and it would not kill her to miss one of those occasionally. It's pretty easy to do this kind of scheduling now.
