Never a good sign when your previous coordinator was top 40 and the guy taking over took you to top 5. Even worse is that your RB rushed for 1000 more yards without you and will be on the Heisman stage. Yet, we still want continuity and will stick with a guy that got upended by his replacement so bad.

By the end of the first half vs sc, i knew he was over his head. Saw nothing that changed my mind.

He has some decent concepts but never sets up anything and didn't play to the strengths of his guys.

Boise also went from 8-6 to 11-1 after Bush left. Not good when the team gets significantly better without you. Stoops thinks not enough years in the system is the problem . How did the Boise new OC take them from top 40 with Butch to top five in his first year? It took him one year to do the job that Stoops is making excuses about..

Same system, different guy?

Seems like the new guy also did it with Bush’s players. Maybe we need to give him a chance to get his own players in place.

Bush was only there one year. The star running back that gained 1000 more yards this year than last year is in his third year. The QB was also already at Boise before Bush got there.

For the 1 billionth time, it isn’t the OC, guys!! It’s the freaking HC. Shannon Dawson is in the running for the top OC in the country. He as fired after one season here. It’s Stoops. Always has been and will continue to be until he’s gone.
