I'm assuming he's playing anyway.

Hope Bud makes a big impact his rookie year.

Tried to watch but i got sick of the nonstop slobbering lovefest the announcers have over you know who. It pisses me off they never mentioned once how hurtt payed him to go to loserville.
There is such a bias against UK players by these networks it almost seems like a turtleneck is paying off someone.

You are true to your screename.

Honestly, Bud looks like he hasn't quite adjusted to the NFL yet...not far off though. I imagine he'll be in the mix by the midpoint of the season if not sooner. Granted, he was getting held like crazy, and he was a part of several big defensive plays...He just wasn't the guy making the play. He did require some double teams though, allowing his teamates to step up and make the play. As far as his body, he looked even beastier than when he played for the Cats. Steelers got one hell of a player...just needs to adjust to the speed of the game a little bit, but it will come soon.

He definitely struggled some, but that isn't necessarily surprising when you're playing your first NFL game. He'll be fine.

How is he looking out there?

It wasn't a good start. He was pretty ineffective in pass rush and got man handled by a TE on running plays. It's not the end of the world, just one preseason game. He clearly has some adjusting to do. The NFL is much more physical than even the SEC. It might take Bud a full season to adjust to his new spot.
