We are going to be a lot tougher. If we can avoid the injury bug this will be the best team we have had since 07.

The linebackers improving will be as important to our defense as the line improving. If teams cannot run at will, we can keep them honest and that will allow us to defend them better. Can't wait to see our guys get experience and fly around like it's first nature.

Towles has all the pieces to work with, has another year of experience, and much more experience and talent around him than he had last year. Our offense should absolutely freaking explode this year.

Honorable mentions: Hatcher (Should come into his role nicely), Matt Elam (after he's shedded some weight), Timmons, and Toth.

If even half of the players listed in this thread so far have a break out season the Cats should be in great shape this season.

Players that I hope have a break out season Either Lewis or Elam at NT being able to control the A gaps on defense and a cover corner that can control his side of the field man on man. On offense either Towles or Barker have a break out year at QB and the OL as a unit has a break out year

Baker has potential, but I was honestly more impressed with Bone last year than I was at any time watching Baker. Aside from laying a few really sweet hits, I didn't see much out of Baker compared to Bone and Johnson. JMO.

i would agree. baker seems like one of those guys that is gonna show flashes of brilliance one game then disappear the next at least for next season. i really see him hitting his stride as a jr. bone could make a lot of hay with those deep fade routes with dawson stretching the field.

I love baker and Montgomery. Montgomery is arguably the best pass catcher we have. I'm just concerned with their health. If they come back 100% then this offense will be even better than I'm expecting.

While I get your point, fact is Farrington didn't play behind Bud - he played behind Z who was at a different position than Bud.
