Brandon Jennings on John Wall

There has only a handfull of times I remember where I got so excited over a recruit committing to us like we had just won a championship. John wall was one of those times. One of the biggest recruits in uk history and gave Kentucky that swag back. And thank you Brandon Jennings for making me smile today.

Great read, shaudyshaud, thanks for posting that. What a tribute by a teammate and speaks so highly of Wall off the court as well as on the court. Sounds like he is one terrific teammate but I doubt that comes as any great surprise to UK fans.

Awesome, awesome article. Straight forward and honest. Terrific. Says a lot about the positive impact that JW has on his teammates.

PS. just popped it over to Colin Cowherd. Thought he might enjoy it.

Excellent article. Jennings was a flat out stud coming out of high school. I think going to Europe instead of Arizona really stifled his progression. He never seemed to get better after high school. I mean he probably has improved his shot but he hasn't added anything to his game. Oh well, he's been in the NBA for 10 years so he's doing something right.

Pretty dope piece by Brandon Jennings on his fellow teammate
Great read, thanks for sharing it. To me; John Wall was the SINGLE player to serve notice to the rest of the college world that UK was in style, after Tubby's slow pace, and Gillispie's nightmare of two seasons. To me he was the single most important signing in the last 25 years. AD -and all of those that followed - likely noticed UK more due to Wall's charisma and cold blooded swag. He's not been matched from the coolness factor, and I doubt he ever will be.

Great read. Like how BJ describes Wall's play as "mean". Precise way to put it, any other Alumni or currently playing that way?

UK and Cal taught him to lead and give. Humble young man. Very proud of John Wall. UK helped make him a MVP

First thing I thought was this kid who never went to college is a better writer than anyone on KSR. Then I saw he was a contributor.

Great article.

Nice to see the two best high school mixtapes of all time (non LeBron category) getting along so well.

Seriously, Brandon Jennings almost singlehandedly launched the popularity of the mixtape. He was incredible. I thought he was going to be Iverson with better point guard skills.
