I'm guessing Cal might end up doing the same thing for this recruit. Is that a violation? LOL!

Be fine with me if Brad and Spellman wind up here.![]()
These package deals seldom work out. We'll probably just get Spellman.Originally posted by Smashcat:

Maybe, but if Brad's not playing, how would that equate scrutiny?Originally posted by miracle7s:
I don't think Cal will want Brad to play here. Too much scrutiny, especially for a kid like Brad. He is a how do you say it politically correctly a wannabe gangster. Plus I think I heard Brad wants to try and play at a NAIA level type school and actually try to play. Don't know if he could even do that though seeing as how he couldn't even get minutes for LCA. It's kind of hilarious that he went to Prep school for an extra year of high school. Thought that was reserved mainly for really good players trying to get their grades up.
It's not the playing or not playing that would cause an issue. It's Brad himself I'm not sure if UK fans would be ready for. It wouldn't bother me, but I can see some of the older and more country brethren not liking the wannabe gangster, trash talking, rich kid, daddy's boy on the team. Don't think we've ever had a white guy like that before and mix that with the fact that it would be Cal's son, just think it would be a disaster. To act like White Chocolate you better be able to play like Jason Williams could, you know what I mean.Originally posted by Son_Of_Saul:

that is hilarious. I'm 29 years old. I don't have issues with kids in high school. trust me I'm good being me. I should of just written what I really wanted to say at the end but I didn't, but since the poster brought up the issues between Maisello and the students I'll say it. I think Brad might get knocked out by a fellow student on campus, that would be a total disaster.Originally posted by SeattleKat:

You think someone on UK's campus would knock out the son of the coach who's winning at a better clip than Rupp and who hangs out almost exclusively with guys the size of Demarcus Cousins? I mean, we can agree to disagree.
It's also probably not wise to speculate on the attitude of a teenager none of us really know much of anything about. Painting him as some cross between a snotty rich kid and a fake gangster is unfair without some kind of legitimate substance. You mean he has a wealthy dad and has spent most of his childhood around black dudes? Okay, I guess.
Truth be told, it's pretty inconsequential regarding whether he comes here, aside from it possibly keeping Cal at UK for the duration of his walk on days and everyone yelling "shoot!" when he comes in the game. No real harm or benefit either way.
Yep, well put.Originally posted by Contracts & Wildcats:
