2. Is he really such a great offensive mind anymore? He's not as effective as he was a decade ago. UL was not a juggernaut after Lamar undre Bobby and I thought Texas Am offense was not all that with eons of 5* kids to play with.

UK had a chance to hire him and would have won a couple division titles by now if they would have.
I'm more surprised that he's even interested in hanging around the SEC...at a place that's not really going to contend for much and has already run him out.

- Every place he’s been he’s left in turmoil, controversy, or fired
- His reputation in the coaching ranks was so bad he resorted to hiring unproven and inexperienced family members as coaches. Even UL fans were pissed about it

Embarrassing for who at Arkansas? The fanbase didn't want to fire him back then. He was fired for the lying and trying cover the affair.
Bobby P. was wrong, but she set her sites on the job, used the assets she had on a rather homely middle aged guy. Hot young blondes can make homely middle aged men do dumb things.

As best I can remember in the report a passerby called 911 of a wreck, also interesting the Harley was in neutral when the cops went down to retrieve it and take pics of the scene and asked him how it got into neutral and he said I must have kick it out of gear unknowingly 🤣🤣 he almost lied his way out of it but that $20K was her sign on bonus as one booster phrased it 😂😂
Arkansas fans still really like him and IMO he would have stayed in northwest Arkansas for a long time if the wreck hadn't happened. It's a little desperate on Pittman's part but it's one way to win back the fanbase when everyone would have been calling for his head all offseason.

I'm pretty sure there was no wreck. The boyfriend of a co-ed he was messing with beat the crap out of him seems to be the real story.

Bobby does seem to be a kindler gentler version of his past. We all make big mistakes but some are in the eye of the public. His offensive philosophies are getting outdated though. I am nto sure he has what it takes to turn Arky around. I guess we will see?
