Bowling Green laying the wood to Tennessee.

Would love to see the upset...don't see BG moving the ball on UT after adjustments

What a drive! BG from inside their own 5. Goes for it on 4th and 3 from their own 10. Then they throw back to back bombs over the top for 6.

21-17

Wow can't believe this score. Still believe UT will pull away and have a comfortable win, but they are being challenged at least in the first half.

TN fans are setting themselves up for a big fall next Saturday. OU and Booby Stoops may go in there and win. As far as today is concerned, UT will probably pull away, but their D sucks really bad. I am assuming the UT coaches did not gameplan enough for BG and spent too much time on OU...cause if they did in fact spend all their time gameplanning BG and look this awful they may be in for a bit of a letdown of a season.

Bowling Green's offense is pretty darn good. The Deidrick kid is really good, cb cannot keep up with him, just blows right past him. Could have scored twice on that drive if QB had not overthrown him. Looks to be a shoot out

The defense looks surprisingly bad. I expected the defense to be the strength of this Tennessee team. The offense looks pretty decent, particularly the run game. But, Tennessee will have a long season if the defense doesn't at least play at the level it did last season.

Overall I think Joshua Dobbs and the running backs look very good for UT,the offensive line looks somewhat improved, the defense looks to have taken a step back, particularly the pass defense. I wouldn't want to read too much into one game, but those are my overall impressions of UT. It's surprising to me that the offense looks better than the defense, I was expecting the opposite.

I don't think OU is looking too good right either. They're up by 14 at half and have less than 30 yards rushing. Our defense will be better suited for OU's attack - its more conventional and BG's offense is really good. It is based on Baylor's offense and we know how potent that offense is. We'll be ready. Go Vols !!

They won't need to run the ball much when they are lighting your asses up through the air. They actually play defense as well, you aren't scoring that much on them next week.

Fair enough but we didn't have our starting safety in this game, which should help us some. We'll be able to score on them as well - 400 yards rushing to ( 2 - 100 yard runners w/ Dobbs having 90 as well) plus 200 yards passing. The key in this game , as in most games, will be TOs. Looking forward to it. Go Vols

The one thing that stood out about Tennessee's offense, it the insane speed. I believe that might have been the fastest SEC team I watched this week. Something like 8 TD drives of 2 minutes or less. 87 total snaps, approximately a snap every 22 seconds. The RBs looked fast, Josh Dobbs looked fast, the receivers looked fast. Teams that don't handle speed well are going to have a tough time defending against them.
