Kid is legit. Only question is if he'll grow anymore. Right now he has a tendency to defer to some of the other players on his team but Wednesday night against Franklin Simpson (top 10 team in the state) he took over in the second half and really asserted himself. He ended up with around 23-25 points and FS just didn't have anyone that could stay in front of him. FS tried face guarding him to keep the ball away from him, which worked pretty well in their two other games, but Zion fought to get the ball and then scored at will.

Again, him moved from Maryland to play in Tennessee as a 7th grader. From what was stated in the Daily News (our local newspaper) a couple of months ago, he moved to Bowling Green, where he could play as an 8th grader and play with better players and against better competition.

And again he is 14.

His dad was not happy with the coaching. He has stated as long as the Zion likes his team (and supposedly he loves being at BGHS), and the competition challenges him, he does not plan to move to a prep school. He stated that just because a lot of the elite players does it, does not mean it is the best route for Zion. He stated Zion has plenty of exposure. Having said that, I would be shocked if he is still at BGHS in two years.

Tennessee doesn't let 8th graders play high school ball?

In Tennessee 8th grade is considered your Senior year.

Not top ten in this poll, they were at a few points in the season, but they're top 25 and to assume they're not is dumb. Lovin is as good as anyone in the state from the times I've seen him play. Kid is legit from 15 in. WKU Murray and some of the smaller D1 teams need to be on this kid hard.

They lost 7 times this season and 6 of the 7 were to teams in the top 15 in this poll.
