Boom Williams hurt at Bengals training camp.

That's tough, durability was a big question mark with him and he gets hurt on first day, its a huge hit for his NFL aspirations. Hopefully it's a minor thing and he won't miss much time, otherwise it could be the CFL or arena football for him.

So you're surprised he got hurt?

Not that surprised, its a tough game with tough training, lots of football players get hurt. I am disappointed though, and hope it isn't a serious thing that affects his chances of getting a contract.

Sheesh. Boom is gonna be another case of coulda woulda shoulda
Very sorry to hear Boom got hurt. But let's face it. The people who insisted Boom was making the right decision to bypass his senior season were wrong. Some may still try to debate it. Some will say he could have gotten hurt again at UK. But at the end of the day, this is purely a results driven debate.

Probably Reason #1 why he would forego his Senior year. Another year of getting banged up in the SEC would of done him no favors . If he gets cut by the Bengals (likely) hopefully he shows out enough to get picked up by someone and I think he will ultimately. He's a weapon, even if it's just on Special Teams.

You're awful!
we got a bunch of posters saying the same thing, its not a surprise that boom has issues staying healthy. Its true, and somewhat expected he is a liitle running back who stayed hurt here, stayed wearing braces. Nobody wishes ill will, and we hope for the best.

If Boom doesn't make an NFL roster, then your caveat becomes moot.

I don't see how a chance injury in any way explains what he should or should not have done.
