Where's that USC poster who kept saying how Boom was nowhere near as good as that North Carolina back. I bet he has a little bit different opinion now.
I like our stable of backs. What ended up being wrong with Horton? I don't think he gets enough respect. Over 5 ypc for his career and had a couple of really nice runs tonight before he got hurt...

Yeah, @TravellersGhost, tell me about how Boom isn't as good. Let's hear about how he's too small to break tackles, because it looked like he ran through your linebackers several times tonight.
Meanwhile, Elijah Hood (the RB that's supposed to be better than Boom), ran the ball 16 times for 56 yards against, wait for it... North Carolina A&T.
Glad he was fresh, strong, and not wore out for the icing clock killing drive! Didja see him carrying defenders?!?! I think the staff knows what they are doing with touch rotations.
Hood is a very good back. I would say Boom is a little bit better. But Boom does not have to be featured the way the UNC kid does, as we have two other very good options.
I'd like to see UK get the ball to Boom a little more in open space...pitches or swing passes.. I think 5 touches like that to get him to 20 per game would be what we should get from him.
