Booker 3-point shooting numbers:

After going 0 for 3, and 0 for 6 in the Texas and Eastern Kentucky games, he did not play in the Columbia game.

He has been on fire ever since. From now back to the UNC*** game, he is 22 of 33 for 67% in 9 games. Here are the %'s for those 9 games:

The reason I even took a look at these numbers is because ESPN called Indiana's Nick Zeisloft "a 3-point shooting specialist". Zeisloft is 27% in his last 9 games. Shouldn't there be some sort of threshold to be able to slap a "specialist" label on a player?

I honestly thought Booker would be with us 3-4 years, not looking that way now - but that's ok, if we have a great season.

I'm starting to think Ulis, Lee, Lyles and Poythress will return - possibly Dakari.

Yeah, I was looking at Zeisloft's numbers...

He is still shooting 38% from 3 on the season, which is not terrible. So, that may be part of the reason ESPN describes him as a 3pt specialist.

It's not difficult to hit threes when you look like a punk and everyone leaves you wide open. That's what was going on early in the season. But once they realize you can hit that shot, people start to guard you. That's what has happened in more recent games.

In his last 9 games, Zeisloft's 3pt shooting has fallen off significantly. He's 8-30 in those games for 26.7%.

Another reason someone might call him a 3pt specialist is because that's practically all he does. Of his 94 total FG attempts on the season, 84 of those are from 3pt range. So, he doesn't do much else. Nearly 90% of his shots are from 3pt range.

Meanwhile, Booker has an excellent all-around game. He's excellent in the open floor and finishing on the break. He's been doing quite a bit more driving and pulling up for mid-range jumpers lately. And he also is shooting 50% from 3.

Lyles is as gone as towns and WCS are, he's getting huge draft recognition based on his potential as a big body that can shoot
